My name is Nicholas Rodriguez. I am a graduate from Napa Valley College in the Digital Design Graphics Technology (DDGT) program and work as a CAD Drafter. Ever since I was young, I have always been artisitic and innovative, and have had the desire to create something of my own. This is why I chose to pursue a degree in the DDGT program, because of the way it incorporates technology, drafting, art, and graphic design.
In high school, I enrolled in the Multimedia academy which taught many skills using technology, graphic design, video, and photography. Through the DDGT program I have been able to expand and develop my skillsets to create and design effectively and efficiently as a drafter.
My goal in the long-run is to take my experience and skills in the program and in the industry and use them to use them to become the best I possibly can. As a drafter, I am able to create designs and drawings specializing in mechanical, structural, and architectural drafting. I know with my dedication and hard work I am putting in now, I will be able reach my goal of implementing my skills into becoming a better and more experienced drafter.
