This porject consumed several weeks of my free time, and served to familiarize me with the Redshift3d Redshift rendering engine. The locomotive was modeled in Autodesk Inventor using plans from the December 1986 Railroad Model Craftsman. The tank cars were modeled in Autodesk Inventor, using plans and detailed images from the February 1990 Model Railroader. The scene wa created in Autodesk 3ds Max and the graphics with Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk AutoCAD.
