I was born and raised in the Bay Area and have lived in and around Napa since I was in middle school. I have always had an interest in art and anything mechanical. As a kid I was usually found doodling or building different types of things out of whatever was lying around my room or the garage. I left high school and studied at Napa Valley College to get my general education completed for an associates degree. Along with the general education I took I found myself taking several art and photography classes. Nothing ever became of the art or photograhpy beyond being a hobby and with that and I went out into the work force. I worked several different jobs along the way varying from retail, restaurants, autobody repair, and then I ended up working in the wine industry after being involved in several wine harvests.
I currently work as a Lab Tech full time testing wine, but I also find myself back in school again at the Napa Valley College. This time around I am involved in the Digital Design Graphics Technology program which seems to fit my interest in technical subject matter and the visual arts. At this point in the program I find the work in Autocad and Inventor most interesting since it allows a person create parts from scratch and assemble them into a finished piece. As the program continues I hope to develop my skillset to a the point that I can switch career paths and become involved in an industry utilizing this software and technology.
