TROLLEY ASSEMBLY This project was made with Autodesk software Inventor. This trolley assembly comprises two sub-assemblies fixed to an I-beam, with a central fixing hook. Through this assignment, I gained proficiency in integrating standard parts and components into my models using Autodesk Design Center. Additionally, I mastered creating standard hardware such as rivets, pins, and bolts from scratch, rather than relying on pre-engineered components.
This project involves multiple nested subassemblies, where a subassembly refers to a smaller set of parts assembled within a master or larger assembly, with the goal of improving clarity and detail in complex projects. For example, the side plate and wheel serve as subassemblies, encompassing various components such as wheels, guide plates and axles. Additionally, standard hardware items such as washers, roller bearings, rivets and cotter pins are incorporated. |
