Biography

I am from Vacaville, California, where I have lived my whole life. My family is full of experienced photographers and I learned tremendous amounts from them growing up. My passion for photography and digital design started in high school where I took both photography and architectural drafting classes.

After high school, I went straight to college and have taken classes in a few different disciplines. I spent two semesters in the culinary program at American River College in Sacramento before deciding that my future would be in the digital graphics field. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, gardening, camping, and cooking.

I got my first job working at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo working in the food service department. After that, I worked for a family-owned firearm retail store as their office coodinator. My duties included organizing customer files, background checks, entering firearm acquisition and disposition records, and making sure operations were ATF and DOJ compliant.

My love of the outdoors, combined with my passion for photography and art, motivates me to take landscape photography in my free time as well as portraiture of my family and friends. My interest in architecture and computers inspired me to enroll in the DDGT program to heighten my skills in graphic design and drafting. I plan to further my education in the classical arts as well as drafting and technical drawing.
