My name is Miguel Kenning, I'm a student at Napa Valley College currently enrolled in the two-year A.S. program for Digital Design Graphics Technology. I have always been interested in learning how to create parametric and other forms of 2D and 3D designs as well as 3D modeling. This course allows me to learn the basic skills as well as industry standards which can land me a career and further my education after my time at Napa Valley College. I have plans to take the machine tooling program, which I had recently developed a strong interest in, after I obtain my A.S. degree in DDGT and I wish to continue my education at San Jose State after my time at NVC.

My own personal hobbies outside of school consist of playing video games, building computers for myself and other people, repairing devices such as phones, ranging from screen replacements to changing the battery. I sometimes create personal designs for mainly home projects which one of my current projects is to reverse engineer plastic brackets for the window mechanism in two of the doors of my car since they had broken due to wear. I currently do not own my own 3D printer so I have to outsource to a friend of mine who has one to print the parts needed. So at some point in the near future I hope to own a 3D printer of my own which will encourage me to produce more personal products and develop my current skillset.
