Gino Salmeri is a drafter with beginner knowledge and usage of drafting principles through applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor. Gino Utilizes these principles in the construction of working drawings, the drafting of Residential and Commercial structures utilizing BIM and the usage of Adobe products such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver. He is a beginner in drafting with two and a half years of experience of various CAD programs. He believes that Drafting is a critical component in the design and construction process to produce prototypes, giving a clearer representation of a concept and helping move forward toward a final product. Whether that be components of an assembly or an exterior of a commercial building.

Being able to be part of the design process in manufacturing that is involved as much as drafting is a treat for me. Being able to be part of this process is something I'm passionate about and goes along greatly with my idea filled mind, being able to put out my ideas into a medium that influences tangible aspects of society. Being part of the process also allows me to learn and understand how design gets done in different disciplines which I value greatly as the insight into each discipline’s process will help me to gain new skills which I can use to better contribute to the project at hand.

Additionally, some things he likes to do in his spare time include running, fabricating furniture, going to the gym and prototyping in CAD. Gino has received certification in an Authorized AutoCAD Training facility for software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Fusion 360. Along with other digital tools such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Gino holds an associate degree in Digital design and Graphics Technology from Napa Valley College and Certificates in Architectual and Mechanical Drafting.
