AutoCAD Caster
The caster project started with a rough sketch that included dimensions for each individual component. From there, I recreated all parts in 2D wireframe form using AutoCAD, which served as the base for building the 3D model later on. After completing the 2D geometry, I converted the drawings into 3D parts using operations such as extrusions, revolutions, and Boolean functions.
Once every component was fully modeled, I assembled them into their correct positions to form the complete caster assembly. After the assembly was finalized, I created an exploded view to clearly show how each part connects and to illustrate the overall assembly process in a more visual way.
Using the completed 3D model, exploded view, and detailed part drawings, I developed a full working drawing sheet set that included a cover page, an exploded view sheet, and detailed pages with dimensions, notes, and manufacturing information. The final package was supported by rendered visuals of the finished assembly, helping to represent how the design would appear once manufactured.
