About Me

Born and raised in Napa Valley, I grew up helping my family in our Vineyard and got exposed to machines and mechanisms early working on farm equipment. I was introduced to 3D modeling, design, and CNC manufacturing in the Precision Machine Technology program at Napa High. I spent three years in the program mastering the tools and machines and tutoring other students. The program focused on the business aspects of machine technology in addition to the design and fabrication. In my senior year I participated in the YEP, county wide, business plan competition and won First Place.

In 2018 the Robotics class and the Precision Machine Technology program formed the schools first ever team in the FIRST Robotics Competition. FIRST Robotics is a world wide tournament where students design, build and program robots to compete against each other in games. Our first year team made it to the regional semi finals. I lead the fabrication team, and in addition to designing some of the parts, I finalized others designs for CNC manufacturing and fabricated the parts.

Already a user of 3D modeling software like Inventor, HSMworks, Solidworks, and Fusion360, I wanted to expand my skills and prepare for a career. I’m now completing my first year at Napa Valley College in the DDGT program learning more about the tools and earning certifications.

I love designing and building with both my hands and the computer. I own a 3D printer, CNC router, metal lathe and a mill which I use to build my own projects and stretch my skills. I look forward to completing my education and pursuing a career in design and CNC Manufacturing.
