Because of the covid-19 epidemic, the 2020 DDGT 241 class created individual final projects instead of the typical group projects, here is the one I created. This type of engine in known as Stirling engine, specifically it is a Gama Stirling engine. Stirling engines create power by expanding and shrinking cold and hot gas, with the only input being the heat of the candles. The four inner pistons are only displacers and help move the gas to and from the power pistons on the outside. The two layers of glass above each candle help insulate that part of the chamber to keep it hot and the fins help keep the part of the chamber closer to the crankshaft cooler.
