This is my Machine Vise project. For this project, I modeled it in Inventor and rendered it in 3ds Max. The video was completed utilizing Adobe Premiere. This is the first project that I had to use multiple software programs to accomplish a final output. Inventor allowed me to create each individual part and then put it into an assembly. The next phase was importing the model into 3ds Max. This allowed me to put lighting and materials onto my model. Additionally, I created the desired camera angles to showcase the different parts and features of the Machine Vise. Once everything was to my liking, I was able to render my animation. The last phase was putting together the animation since rendering creates a series of images frame by frame. In Premiere, I combined all of my images into sequences and added effects and my logo to make the video complete. Although this project took well over twenty-four hours with just the animation in 3ds max alone, I am happy with the results. Learning all the software required to complete this project was exciting and satisfying. Although it is a short video, the experience and skills I have learned has helped me grasp the concept and purpose for each of these programs.
