Passionate, intelligent, and dedicated
    My name is Giovanni Ramirez Meza I work as an intermediate drafter, programmer, graphic design, and engineer doing freelance work. My parents immigrated to the United States 4 years before I was born and they have worked hard to put me into the position I am in today. I have always admired their dedication so I’ve been following in their footsteps and really pushed myself to be ahead of the curve. I was always a top-ranking student and I would spend countless sleepless nights finishing projects I was passionate about. This all culminated in me graduating in my junior year and into today where I will finish my first year in college before turning 18.
      During my time in school, I became fascinated by STEM topics. The large amounts of Sci-fi media I consumed greatly contributed to this mainly robots. This has driven me to work toward getting a career in robotics or something adjacent to it like mechanical engineering. But in that pursuit, I learned a lot about what it takes in order to get into robotics and other topics I’m interested in. So I expanded my interests into drafting and computer science.
      Despite not having much of a professional history all these goals and interests have led to me getting certifications in Photoshop, Unity, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and REVIT. I am pretty proficient in these programs and I plan to expand my knowledge in the future. Currently, I plan to graduate from my community college and transfer into Cal Poly in order to get a mechanical engineering degree. I’m still young and I have a lot of decisions to make for myself regarding what's next but I will continue to do my best to achieve it.
