In this project using Inventor I designed a Machine Vise by creating it's individual parts and used a plugin called CoolOrange Thread Modeler in order to model the screw threads. Then I put them together in an assembly and constrained the parts so that they moved accordingly. Afterward, I used 3DS Max to create the video. The materials in Inventor didn't carry over so I added my own and edited the Machine Vise to include my logo and name. I animated the parts assembling and rendered out different scenes. Later, I used Premiere To compile my scenes and made the finished product.
