This showcases all of the work that I made while in the Ceramics program to demonstrate the concepts and principals of Art. The emphasis in this piece is the positive and negative space to be equally interesting. Using a play on words positive and negative space I came up with the piece below. Using positive space as the remains of a head and the brain to give the observer the impression of where the rest of the head went as the negative space. Also using the brain as a positive and negative mental space to add depth to the art piece.
