The first stage was to create the 3D parts, this was done using Inventor. Once the parts had been modeled they were ready to be constrained and placed in the correct position on the assembly. We were now ready create presentation file, with exploded views. Lastly, we could complete our Working Drawing which included dimensions breakout views parts list and much more.
Once the work in Inventor was complete we had to import all the parts into 3ds Max as meshes. Now in 3ds Max we had a unique aspect to this project, we had to rig everything aside from the base together in order for them to be able rotate as one. Once that was finished, we could move on to appling materials, creating lighting, and creating our camera to make an interesting shot. It is now time to render out our shot.
When the renders completed each being a single frame. We converted them into video using Premiere. In Premiere we added transitions and other video effects and opening and closing titles to complete the project.
