An assembly that was constantly worked on throughout my third semester in DDGT, the Machine Vise project contains twelve custom parts and two standard parts. I constructed all of the custom parts and assembled them in Inventor, then later transferred them into the program 3DS Max for rendering and animation. This was my first experience with 3D animation, and while I am not the proudest of it, it is still an important piece of my history with these programs.
Inventor is the industry standard for creating 3D digital models for part prototypes, and 3DS Max is widely used for 3D animations of all genres.
