Welcome to my portfolio page
Welcome to Assimilated Design. This website has been constructed to demonstrate my abilities in computer-aided drafting, and graphic design using Autodesk and Adobe programs. I have acquired the skills to use these software programs through the Digital Design and Graphics Technology course offered at Napa Valley College. These programs include AutoCAD, Inventor, Adobe Photoshop, Fusion 360, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver. In addition to course work projects assigned to me, being presented in this website, I also show my own independent body of work. The intrigue of the possibilities made available by utilizing new software technologies such as photogrammetry and 3D printing to capture and immortalize memories in both physical, and virtual spaces is the drive of my independent work. Instead of photo albums, I want to be able to experience those sentimental memories in an emmersive way, using virtual reality. Imagine stepping into a three-dimensional rendering of your childhood home, in a first person perspective, and being able to move freely as if you were walking through it. I also aspire to be able to preserve the physical design of sentimental material possessions by scanning an object, assimilating the data through photogrammetry software into a virtual 3D representation, and then 3D printing a scaled down replica model, preserving every sentimental imperfection. Thank you for visiting Assimilated Design. My body of work is presented above.
