This was our introductory assignment to Adobe Photoshop, where we learned quite a few different skillsets in the process of its completion, such as tweaking export settings to optimize the poster for high-quality printing, working with non-destructive editing methods, correct source/working file organization to keep the project coherent, and some photo editing skills. The two logo graphics found in the bottom row of the poster, the Napa Valley College logo and the Napa Valley College "Storm" mascot were created with the help of Adobe Illustrator and Autodesk AutoCAD as Vector Graphics. We used AutoCAD to create the outlines, then imported the vector data to Illustrator to apply color to the created vector shapes. We used vector graphics because they allow us to scale them to any size without having to worry about resolution when exporting.
