The requirements for DDGT130's Project 1 were to create one single part with no movement. I decided that I would like to model an engagement ring, to eventually be 3D-printed in resin. The resin model will be used to create a real ring using the lost-wax method. Note: the gems included in these models are not part of the print and are strictly included for visualization and aesthetics.

Some other projects completed as a part of exploring ideas and techniques for the assignment:

The first is a recreation of my own engagement ring. In this model I explored working with more challenging organic shapes. At this point I had not yet learned how to create the gem insets. I hope to update the model to reflect what I have learned since!
