9-35 Shaft Base was the first 3D object that I made in AutoCAD. It was assigned during the later part of of the first semester of the DDGT classes where we would work on it as a class. This was an important assignment to get us comfortable with AutoCAD's 3D modeling capabilities, using comands like "extrude" and "fillet" in a 3D enviroment. This assignment required me to first create a 2D drawing of the part and then create the 3D geometry from that drawing. The 2D geometry and the working drawing were all skills that I learned in the beginning of the first semester of the DDGT classes.
